Application Steps

Surface Preparation

  1. Make sure the surface is dry, clean, and free from dirt and contaminants.
  2. Steel / iron surface, surface cleaning should follow the Sa 2.5 standard based on SWEDISH STANDARD SIS 05 59 00 and ISO 8501 – 1 : 1988 or SSPC – SP – 10.
  3. Clean the iron / steel surface from oil using solvent cleaning / industrial detergent.
  4. Clean the iron / steel surface from rust using sandpaper / appropriate chemical.

Application Steps

  1. For steel substrate, apply anti corrosive primer EPOXY MASTIC EPM - 60110 before applying PROTEX FIRE PFR - 10100 SB.
  2. Apply PROTEX FIRE PFR-10100 SB using airless spray.
  3. After drying, apply PU color PUT-603 on top of PROTEX FIRE PFR-10100SB.
